Saved searches display results in reverse alphanumberical order

Our users have reported that when they open a Saved Search (ex: all tasks assigned to a specific person, due by a specific date), the results are presented in reverse alphnumerical order. I opened this case with Asana Support back in April, and it was told it would be fixed in early June. After my latest follow-up, I was told that Asana has determined that this isn’t a functional bug, but “a structural limitation to our current search engine…” and to open a topic under Product Feedback.

Please investigate finding a fix for this issue. Thanks!

Update from @Tiara_Moske1: The actual issue is that when the saved search results first load, they load in correct order, but after a random amount of time, the order flips on its own to reverse alphanumerical order.

Update (since I can’t seem to edit my first post) : the actual issue is that when the saved search results first load, they load in correct order, but after a random amount of time, the order flips on its own to reverse alphanumerical order.

@Tiara_Moske1, I updated your OP with the addition. (And voted.)

Thanks,

Larry

We are also experiencing this same issue with the data reversing the order after a few minutes or as you start to scroll down the data, and would like to see this resolved.

In addition to this issue, we would also like to see additional sort and group functionality within the search result data - similar to the capabilities found on My Tasks and within Portfolios/Projects. There is very limited capabilities within the search result data to view in beneficial ways.

@Forum-team, With multiple reports, could you consider escalating?

Thanks,

Larry
