I’m generally only intersted in seeing incomplete tasks, but have to filter for these every time I open a board because Asana does not remember this preference. Please save this preference per user and board.

Just to confirm you saved the layout as default but it keeps changing?
Nobody else with edit access has changed the default view?
You could also use the advanced search and save your search views as reports, more info here Using Search & Advanced Search in Asana | Product guide • Asana Product Guide

No, I just didn’t notice that saving changes to the defaul layout was an option. I guess I missed that one. Thank you.
