Rule to turn an email into a task

I have tried to figure out a way to turn incoming messages into a task. Is there a way to do this automagically with rules etc?

I want to recieve support tickets into Asana, and have forwarded support email inbox to a project in Asana. But they appear as messages, not tasks. I can manually create a follow-up task from the message, but it’s not intuitive and is hidden in a sub-meny (…).

Does anyone have a solution for this?

You probably used the wrong email as a target. Don’t use the one in the Message tab, but instead go to the project menu > Import > Email =)
