Rule order and execution when there are multiple rules in a column or board

Hi everyone,

I have set up several projects (boards) for our marketing team, one for each area, and assigned rules to them. Now I have noticed that some rules simply do not work, especially the one that says: When a task is added to the board and a tag is selected, the ticket should be added to another project. Here, for example, is the social media board with different fields to choose from, where I have created a country tag for Switzerland as a field. So if Switzerland is selected from the ‘Country’ field (1 of 4 options), the ticket should be added to the Switzerland board in the Open column. The board contains several country tags to choose from. Addtionalle the rule, automatically assigns tickets when a specific tag such as LinkedIn is selected to a person. Unfortunately, either no rule applies or only one of several. I have read that the order of the rules is important, but how do I know that? Unfortunately, this means that tickets currently have to be manually added to another project.

Thank you.

You cannot control the order the rules will be triggered. The only thing you can be sure of is the order of the actions within the same rule, but there’s no way to know if a rule is gonna start before another one. So you need to design your workflow with that in mind.

What I don’t understand in your case is that if Switzerland is selected, it should multi-home to the Switzerland project. That seems really straightforward. I don’t see any issue with order. Can you please clarify?
