If I correctly understand your issue.
Possible solution 1
You can use your “My Tasks” section in a calendar mode, where it is possible to drag the tasks on the same day to re-organize the order.
Possible solution 2
Depending on the criteria you want to focus on (for example, when field “priority” = high"), you could create an advanced search showing only your top priority tasks, on a calendar view.
