I am very new to Asana. I just began yesterday. I have two contacts that keep popping-up as autofill suggestions for Task Assignees. One is a former employee, which I guess had used Asana at one time. The other is a mistyped e-mail address which never existed. The e-mail addresses for both profiles are not valid. So, nobody has access to them.
I am guessing the former employee is being suggested due to the e-mail address in his profile sharing a common domain with mine. The former employee is the only one on his Team in Asana. I tried joining it to take control of and remove it. But, it is set to require permission from the Team Admin (no longer accessible due to the invalid e-mail address).
For the mistyped e-mail address, I tried removing the invitations, which did not help. Though, I did find information about changing security settings to expire and hopefully remove guests that do not accept their invitation after a variable timeframe. But, I could not find any security settings. So, I am guessing that this is only available in the paid-tier plans. I hope it is obvious that I am not on a paid-tier plan, thus, why I am here and not going to Support for this. However, low-level security settings doesn’t seem like something that would be restricted to paid-tier. I’m just trying to make it less confusing, so I can spend more time getting familiar with how to use it.
