New Reference fields are great but they currently:
- Cannot be referenced in rules as a trigger, condition, action, or within the AI prompt.

Can you import URL links into an Asana Reference field? custom field when doing a project import
No, Reference Fields are specifically designed for linking Asana objects to each other. To include a URL link, you’ll want to use a text custom field.
Very much looking forward to this!
It would be great if I could use a rule to complete a milestone in a reference field or vice versa, so that project management teams can get accurate updates on my team’s deliverables without someone having to manually go mark the completion of that milestone in multiple places.
