Read only users on specific projects

Hi

Right now Asana members roles are :

Administrator
Editor
Commentator

We would need a 4th role

Administrator
Editor
Commentator
Read only

so they can access the project the same way the other members, the only difference is that they cannot comment

these roles are quite common on project management tools (like Monday) could you request this feature to your team ?

Hi - there is a read only link available to share outside of Asana on List, Board, calendar and Timeline

I agree with the read only link, but I believe it is not the same.
You can have users or guests that are allowed a certain access level to a project, but only need read only access to other projects. As I see it, with the read only link, you have to places to access Asana. One with the link and one with regular access.
Giving read only acces to a project solves this. You do not leave Asana but have read only access.

I have to admit that read only beats the purpose of Asana as a collaboration tool.
