Project list section start/end dates in timeline

Is there a way to see the start/end dates rendered in the timeline view for sections created in my projects list/section/task?

Hi @erik.farmer and welcome to the Forum! :grinning:

From what I understand, you are trying to Sort your Sections on Timeline by Start Date or Due Date. Am I correct? If so, this is no possible at the moment but it is possible to see your Tasks by Start Date/Due Date.

If you want to sort your Tasks by start date or due date you will need to:

  1. Click the Sort by icon
  2. Select either Start Date or Due Date

Phase 1 has a start and end of June, Phase 2 is all july, and so on.
On the timeline there is no indication when a phase begins and another ends.

Iā€™m also looking for this as a feature. Would be really helpful for the Steer-co meetings when we are looking over the project plan.
In my opinion, a section should take the earliest start date of a task within and the latest ones as due date, and the sum of the estimation (in days).
