This may be a easy thing to do but for some reason I am having trouble figuring out how to get it to work.
I want to report on the duration of a project. Can I use the date the first task is initiated to the date the last task is complete and get the output of total number of days for project?
Example:
First task start date:
11-1-25
Last task due date:
11-30-25
Total project duration
11-30-25 - 11-1-25 = 30 days
Thoughts on the best way to create this.
@Denise_Pedro, I don’t think this is easy to do in Asana! Maybe with some integration?
If you have Advanced or Enterprise, Portfolios have two optional columns you can show: Duration and Time Remaining. Those operate on the project’s Start date and Due dates, so it’s really a different concept to what you’re asking for, but it’s somewhat related so I wanted to throw it out there at least!
