Project Description once again missing?

The ‘Project Description’ textarea was moved into the ‘Project Details’ dialog box circa ~2019 per this thread: Project description in the new List View - Tips and Tricks - Asana Community Forum

And it was still there at last check on 210106. But today I can’t find it on any projects … new or old. Is this a bug? Did it get moved again?

It might be inside an Overview tab in the project, do you see it?

@Bastien_Siebman Thx. Found it. Just realized its editable there as well. So good enough I guess.

Where?

@Bastien_Siebman I meant … I found the description-text on the Overview tab as you suggested

Wonderful. That is quite new, you are among the first ones to get it!

When I click on the project details icon, what I had in there is gone and it’s replaced by a “Connect this work to Goals” help tip.

Steps to reproduce: Open a project and click on the project details icon.

Browser version: Chrome - Version 87.0.4280.141 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi @Kevin_Beasley, thanks for reaching out! We’re currently rolling out a new Project Overview feature and you will now be able to find the project details in the Overview tab in your project. We will post an announcement in the forum soon with more details!

I seriously can’t believe Asana users weren’t notified of this change prior to this being rolled out. Also, does everyone look at the forum? Should this late announcement be made in other ways so everyone is aware of it?

Hi @Kevin_Beasley, this update is currently only available to a small fraction of Asana users. We will be posting a full announcement later today in announcements so make sure to keep an eye on this space. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!
