I added a guest user to a project and made them “project admin” but they still don’t have access to admin controls such as adding a new column or editing field options.
Am I missing a step?

No, @Jessie_Upp, that’s the expected behavior for Guests who are not allowed to create Custom Fields, Rules, etc. They have many user-level rights, but only Members (not Guests) may receive the other rights.

Thanks, Larry. It looks like I have 5 seats on my starter account. How do I change this user from a guest to a member? When I find the user profile in Org settings, I can’t find the option to change to member.
I don’t think there’s an automated way to convert from one to the other.
I believe the user would go to Profile image > Settings > Account > Add new email and use an email with your domain name.
They’ll then have two logins to that Asana space. They can change assignee of tasks, add/remove project memberships, etc. as desired.
Maybe others have contributions here but that’s my understanding.
Thanks,
Larry
Thanks - that worked!
