To keep projects visually clean and easier to read, I intentionally avoid using colorful dropdown options unless the color is actually useful in a particular instance. Especially when I’m adding longer lengths of text as drop-down options, the option of a white/neutral background with plain black/grey text makes things easy to read, and ensures my more colorful fields jump out as intended.
Today I noticed all my clean dropdowns had been changed to a grey background with black text - blegh 
As an added note, this additional contrast actually makes it more challenging for my color-blind colleagues to view (by impeding contrast). And I already use colorblind mode for aesthetic reasons!
Can we get this reset? When viewing a lot of fields, the result is just a lot of noise.
