Time spent in Asana isn’t something we track or surface in Insights at this time.
If you’re an admin, you can use the Admin Console’s Insights to see adoption trends like active users and activity over time, as suggested above
You can also build reporting dashboards to track proxies that usually correlate with healthy usage.
What I’d do to measure “habit” without time-in-app:
Weekly active users: Check Admin Console > Insights for active users and trends.
Activity proxies: Create dashboards that show per-user tasks completed, tasks created, comments added, and status updates in the last 7 days. Group by Assignee to spot who’s engaging daily.
Project-level heartbeat: Track tasks completed on time and updates posted. These tend to nudge daily check-ins.
I understand how the time-in-app or daily login count is important for you, so I’ve shared this with our development team. You can also add your vote and use case here so others can chime in: https://forum.asana.com/c/forum-en/product-feedback/20
