Notification for all subtasks or become collaborator on all subtasks

Hi,

I am responsible for a task which includes several subtasks (goes down 3 levels). Is there a way to get notifications for all of the tasks that sit under “my task”? Or alternatively, is there an easy way of making my a collaborator on all subtasks?

Frank.

Hi,

:scream: can you not do that?

Is this a one-off thing you need to do or do you need to do that often? I might have a trick but I want to understand better first

I just want to do that with this particular task that I am responsible for. At the same time, I want to make sure that I also get notifications about new tasks and the updates in there.

Hi @Frank_Nestler,

Thanks for your question. Selecting the Notes and Comments option on each subtask, and then adding yourself as a collaborator for each should do the trick.

You can also add a rule that will trigger when a new task is added to a project and then automatically adds you as a Collaborator. However, that rule seems to only take action on top-level tasks and not when subtasks are added.

If anyone knows of an easier or more efficient way, that would be helpful.
