Not understanding Goals. Doesn't seem to work for my use case. How are you using it?

Hi! Advanced Plan user here. I’ve got a custom field set up in each project to track its dollar value. We’ve got quarterly revenue goals. I’d love for the Goals tool to track our team’s progress by using the dollar value in that custom field once a project has been completed.

Does anyone use the Goals tool to track revenue (or any other custom field)? If so, I’d love to know how to set that up.

Hi @Mike_Shaw welcome to the forum. It isn’t currently possible to use custom fields to feed goals at the moment just work completion. You would have to do a manual goal for now.

Hm. That seems super limiting. I can only presume that more features for the Goals tool will be in the offing. I’ll look forward to those. :slight_smile:
