Hi! Advanced Plan user here. I’ve got a custom field set up in each project to track its dollar value. We’ve got quarterly revenue goals. I’d love for the Goals tool to track our team’s progress by using the dollar value in that custom field once a project has been completed.
Does anyone use the Goals tool to track revenue (or any other custom field)? If so, I’d love to know how to set that up.
Hi @Mike_Shaw welcome to the forum. It isn’t currently possible to use custom fields to feed goals at the moment just work completion. You would have to do a manual goal for now.
Hm. That seems super limiting. I can only presume that more features for the Goals tool will be in the offing. I’ll look forward to those.

This is a feature that I would also LOVE to have. I track progress in a CRM that I manage with Asana for certain sales channels so having the ability to add a dollar value to a task that automatically updates my goal when the task is completed would be an absolute dream 
Echoing that this feature would be great for our use case. We track our orders as individual tasks, with both the vendor and total cost listed in separate columns. While we aggregate the total spend with each vendor in our dashboard, we’d love to utilize Goals to track towards the minimum spend we have with one specific vendor.
