I am interested in using the Outlook Calendar sync from My Tasks for my own use. However, someone I work with has this enabled and it’s extremely problematic for ‘collaborators’. There is only the one check box to ‘Invite assignee and collaborators’ to the calendar invite, and the task is created as an all day, BUSY time block.
Is there any way to set this to invite only the assignee, and to also default to free for the time block? I manage a lot of projects and get spammed by tasks that I assign to this other person, which then show on both of our calendars. I decline all of them, but for her they still show as busy and make it challenging for anyone internally trying to book time with her (we use open visibility settings on our calendars to support easy booking of meetings.)
This feature feels like it’s so close to being incredibly valuable, but these feel like simple things that shouldn’t be an issue. If anyone has a way around these, please let me know!
