My task could not add 'section' under 'list' but 'board is showing the section

I’m using the Asana Mac desktop version. One challenge I have is that when I enter my task ‘list version,’ (without sorting and grouping), I cannot create a section in that view even when I hit ‘add section.’ Oddly, my ‘board view’ shows the newly added section as well as other sections. I’m not sure what’s going on.

Try grouping by Custom Section. This will do the trick
