You might have already had the pleasure to speak with Edda and Cathya via email or through this Forum, but if you haven’t or if you want to learn a little more about them, have a look at the posts below!

Interview with Edda:

Where are you from and where do you live?

I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and moved to beautiful Dublin, Ireland about 3 years ago.

What language do you speak?

I speak fluent German and English! I am also currently looking for a third language to learn so any recommendations or suggestions are welcome.

When did you join Asana?

I joined Asana in April of this year and have been loving every single moment here since.

What is your role at Asana?

I am a User Operation Specialist which means that I am your first point of contact for any and all questions regarding Asana, I help our users with questions in both German and English.

What is your favorite Asana feature?

My favourite Asana feature is definitely the Celebration Creatures (https://asana.com/guide/help/tasks/celebrations), it makes me so happy to see a little creature fly across the screen when I complete Tasks!

What do you like the most about the Asana Community Forum?

I love that we can all come together and share our knowledge with each other. It is such an amazing place to learn about different workflows, tipps and tricks and how to resolve any problem you may face. It makes me happy to see when our users are excited about Asana and I love contributing to that feeling.

Fun fact?

When I was in elementary school our beagle found 3 orphaned hedgehogs while we were walking her in late autumn. They were incredibly tiny and would not have survived on their own so my mom decided to bring them home, we tried to learn everything we could to make sure we got them ready for winter. After talking to my school my mom organized an hedgehog awareness day in my school and I got to teach my fellow classmates as well as many kids I had never spoken to about how to help hedgehogs in need! I think this was when I first realized how much I loved sharing knowledge with other people.

I joined Asana back in February 2018.

What is your role at Asana?

What is your favorite Asana feature?

Tab+B and extra delight! Although the most helpful feature for me is My Tasks - it helps me stay organized.

What do you like the most about the Asana Community Forum?

I love humans helping humans and this is what the Community Forum is all about.

Fun fact?

I studied abroad in Australia in college and got to witness the Great Barrier Reef with my own two eyes, I also got to hug a koala.
