How can I configure Jira Cloud integration without limiting myself to a single Jira type?
I am using my Asana project to track stakeholder requests of various nature, i.e. bugs, feature requests, improvements. Each request gets a Jira ticket counterpart of its own type, depending on the ask: Improvement, Bug, Epic.
When I configure the connection in Jira configuration, I am forced to choose only type of issue.
Is there a way to workaround this?
Hello @Iryna_Tyshko,
The native Asana–Jira integration is limited to a single Jira issue type per project mapping, so I don’t think this is possible out of the box.
If you need different Jira issue types (e.g. Bug, Story, Epic) based on task attributes, you’ll need a more configurable integration. For example, at Getint, we support multiple issue type mappings and filtering rules, allowing different Jira issue types to be mapped based on the integration configuration.
Have a nice week,
Oliwia
