Is there any alternative to App Components?

I’m building an Asana integration that links Asana tasks to issues in our product. I’ve seen that it’s possible to have widgets in an Asana task (like the Jira Cloud integration). I’ve read the docs on App Components and it’s mentioned that app’s using App Components won’t be published until early 2022.

Is there any alternative to have some UI inside an Asana task - one that wouldn’t delay our app release until early 2022? If not, we’re planning to append some text to the task description, but that’s more of a last resort.

Welcome, @Alaa_2,

To effect a UI change, the only other option is a browser extension which has many limitations but can otherwise achieve the purpose (though only for the browser version of Asana, not the Asana apps).
