or how does asana help with this problem?

what would be helpful / relevant info to this problem?

Hi @betterasanathing and welcome to the Community Forum :wave:t3:

I think that the best solution to snooze/postpone a task is to simply change the due date and move the task to either the Upcoming or Later section; it will then automatically move back to your Today section on the new due date!

so change due date to after today?

then todo would move to which?

‘Upcoming’ or ‘Later’?

oh and importantly how many steps does it take to change the ‘due date’?

how to change the ‘due date’ so it can be verified

Hi @betterasanathing and thanks for the follow-up. You can change your due date following these steps. It literally takes two clicks (click on the due date field and select a new date in the pop-up calendar).

If your new due date is set within the next week, you can move the task to “Upcoming”. If the new due date is set later than this week, you can move the task to the “Later” section. In both cases, your task will be automatically promoted to the Today section on the new due date.

Hope this helps! let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
