Introducing project "Duration" and "Time Remaining" fields in Portfolio List View

@Michelle_Paulino, Yes, in the Starter/Legacy Premium plan and above you can add a Gantt view to any project which includes a duration column.

Hi @Paige_Thai , if you are on the Advanced tier (legacy Business plan) you can actually create a formula field that will show you a task’s duration (not an input field).

ll only be available in the Portfolios’ list view. You will have the option to show or hide them directly from the “Customize” menu.

I have not managed yet to use the duration column in the portfolio view in the portfolio dashboard. One of our KPI is the duration of a project. I would love to report on this number. Also, is there a possibility to show the duration in days instead of weeks?

Hej, is there a way to pull a report on Duration? I know you can see it in the portfolio, but I’d like to compare across different deliverable types/custom fields.

Welcome, @Mariia3,

You can’t use Duration directly in the portfolio’s Dashboard tab charts or in Universal Reporting Dashboard charts.

However, you could create a portfolio formula-type custom field specifying Today - Start Date as the formula, which would be equivalent to Duration but would permit use in your charts and would automatically remain in sync the same as Duration.
