it is ridiculous to have to go to a third party application and pay more for simply exporting data that is clearly available within Asana. I get that this system is a simplified program but access to your data should not require additional cost.

For project management this is a basic need to understand updates.

What are the next steps required for Asana to consider this request as a need and develop this feature? This would make the offering at Parity with Jira and other project management tools to be able to export status updates. Unless I am missing something and there is another way to export or maintain a status updates field for ease of project and program managers?

Just bumping this thread to see if there are any updates. We use Asana to track a complex research project and the comments on each participant are implementation data. We need to be able to export them for analysis. Would love for this to happen ASAP!

Agreed. Missing these inputs once downloaded means we lose important information needed for decision making.

Well it is now 2024. I assume this will never be a feature offered by Asana. They will just keep telling us to go buy another product so we can have full functionality of their product.

Is there any update yet or is it planned to be able to export the comments aswell? We have a lot of comments we want to export.
Is this even in the roadmap for asana? because this feature is essential and our company will not spend more money for a secondary product to do what the primary product should already be capable of.

Seems there is no way to export comments in any way but to pay extra bridge24? Sorry, but this is such a basic functionality that is missing for years!
