I have recently noticed that opening a multi-homed task from an inbox notification defaults to the view from the most recently created project that task is multi-homed into, as opposed to the project where the notification originated. (See attachments, where the “[LGT] Sprint v2” is the primary project, and “REPORT - PCC Label Status” is the most recently multi-homed project.)
This is problematic for me in that my custom fields are out of order for the actions I need to take.
Unfortunately, the problems are compounded for other people in my organization, as that REPORT Project has a very limited access list, and no one should be added to it just to get around this error issue. Even though they have rights to see the task itself, when they click on the notification in their inbox, it tries to show the path through the REPORT project and they get an error message that they don’t have access. Instead, they have go outside their inbox, navigate directly to the Sprint project, and navigate to the task from there, which is unnecessarily cumbersome.
