ID Field in Forms/Confirmation Emails

The new custom ID field is really helpful in giving giving projects a usable ID number, but what I really need is to give people who fill out a form the ID of the job they are creating. Is there any way to include that on the confirmation email when someone fills out a form?

No. A potential workaround- which requires new (Starter+) paid plans and form submitters with email at your domain, though no Asana license is required- would be to use the newer Request Tracking feature, which you can learn more about in the Help Center if applicable.

Did they make an adjustment to the Request Tracking feature? I don’t believe it requires an Enterprise level account. We are on Advanced and are able to take advantage of it.

Thanks very much for catching that, @billyadams. I just updated my prior post. Yes, Asana did make a kind change to offer the feature more widely: it requires any new (Starter+) paid plan, and form submitters with email at your domain, though no Asana license is required.
