I just converted a Task to a Project and now all the attachments and work in the Task is gone

I had a Task where all 8 of my team members could see it.

I wanted to exclude 3 and thinking I could convert the task into a new Project, I could preserve the work so far and have it accessed by only the 5 of us.

Now the Task is gone and the Project has none of the previous conversations or attachments any more!

How do I get it back?

The task still exists, and has a “reopen task” button. You can even find it using the search.

Oh Thank you so much, I found it and reopened it.

So what is the best way to do what I was intending?

I think you can’t… the rule to create a project can only be “convert task to project”… @Julien_RENAUD @Arthur_BEGOU any idea?
