Currently the links aren’t working and return the message ‘unable to open Log in - Asana. Cannot download the information you requested’

Hi @Adam_Thomsett
Welcome to the Asana Community Forum!
Please make sure that the URL that you are entering is correct and also check if the board on which you are importing has the view/edit etc permissions for the link!

Hi, Can you advise whether I am posting to the correct board pls

Hi @Adam_Thomsett
Please read and follow these documentations/guides

I’m not sure that the above is covers what I’m looking for.

I just need to be able to put a hyperlink (task web page) in a cell which can be drilled down through to get to the task.

Can you help with this.

Hi @Adam_Thomsett,

I’m not sure where you’re getting the links from, but try constructing them by specifying the task id twice, like this:

https://app.asana.com/0/11999019787XXXXX/11999019787XXXXX

The above will display the task in the context of its project. If you just want the task by itself, put a /f at the end, like this:

https://app.asana.com/0/11999019787XXXXX/11999019787XXXXX/f

@Adam_Thomsett, In case it might make your overall process easier, Asana2Go outputs to Excel your tasks including a working link back to the task automatically. See:

Thanks for this.

I have tried what you have suggested and unfortunately, it hasn’t fixed the issue

I’ve also added the extension Asana 2 Go and exported the tasks to csv. The https links still don’t work?

Is it an office 365 thing?
