Hi, I was able to add a link within the asana form (in the description area) by typing https:// before it. However, will it be possible to have hyperlinks in the future so we don’t have to show the full link address. I know this is being worked on for tasks themselves but specifically asking for the Asana Form.
Agreed this is needed. I created a form and have links to documents on our SharePoint and even other sites for reference and the full URL appears but isn’t hyperlinked (the user would have to copy the text and then paste it into a browser). Having the ability to have rich text like we do for commenting in Asana here on Forms would be great as we could do the same formatting of lists, hyperlinks, bolding, etc.
Hopefully the code could be repurposed here helping to save development time.
Hello, I’m pretty new to Asana and I’m tasked with recreating a form using Asana forms. Currently the intro has hyperlinks which really cut down on how busy the text is. I was hoping to implement essentially the identical formatting in the description field of the Asana form, but it doesn’t appear to support hyperlinks or markdown formatting.
Internally we have something called “the great debates” - where frequent topics of debate, discussion or requests are enshrined. From my quick searching here in these forums, it appears that markdown formatting and hyperlinks in Asana would definitely qualify! This is the first open thread I’ve seen related specifically to Asana Forms. Is there any update to this topic/potential feature?
Adding my voice to this request. It would be super helpful to be able to include links in field descriptions, or have “read-only” text blocks that can help guide a user submitting a form, especially when it has multiple branches based on selection dropdowns.
Forms that support hyperlinks would meet a critical need in our organization’s transition to Asana by helping us eliminate cumbersome and quickly outdated web pages.
I upvote this as well. We want to be able to link to product pages and help center articles that our clients select in our forms so that clients can inform themselves about our products.
