How to turn an approval into a task - No solution

Hi there.

I saw that this was already asked, but never got a full answer.

When building a workflow I convert the task to an approval and once it is approved, it moves to the next stage. On the next stage I can build the rule to mark it as incomplete, but I cannot change it back to a regular task; it remains as an approval task. The only option is to convert it to a project (which is not applicable to my use case)

Is there a solution for it? It does not make sense for it to be possible to convert a task into an approval or a milestone, but not being able to revert the action… :frowning:

Yes, there’s a solution: under the “External actions” tab in the rule action, scroll down to (or search for) “iDO Things” and you’ll find the rule action you want:
