How to switch personal email to business?

Hello,

I’m trying to switch my Asana account from my personal email to my business email.

I’d like to keep all my current projects, tasks, and history, but change the main login email to my company address.

Could you please let me know:

  • what is the best way to do this,

  • and if there is anything I should be careful about (teams, permissions, integrations, billing, etc.)?

  • it looks like I create new workspace?

@Robert_Adam Welcome to the Forums!

Good news - no need to create a new workspace! You can go into your settings, click on Account and under Manage emails, add new email.

Once done, be sure to update your business email as your preferred email.

@Robert_Adam, It appears that you already have two accounts, which is what @Ron_Sanga was recommending, but I don’t think that’s the solution for you.

You write that you want to “switch” and “keep all my current projects, tasks, …”. I don’t believe there’s any way to do that.

Then you suggest creating a new workspace, which adds some confusion.

I recommend you reach out to Support: see How to contact our Support Team.

They should be able to explain what’s involved, which may mean having your two accounts have access to the same projects, tasks, etc., including all customizations like rules custom fields, and reassigning ownership (where you can) from the old account to the new account, and insuring access to the new account where you can’t.
