How do you remove people from the assignee drop down menu?
These are folks that no longer with us and it would be more functional if they were not listed in the options every time we need to assign a task…

Don’t you just remove them from the team?
Hey folks! The assignee will automatically be removed from the dropdown menu based on the frequency with which they are/aren’t assigned tasks by you. We don’t have data to share on the time limit, but the gist is it’ll happen over time if you haven’t assigned someone something in a while.
When you remove people from your asana organization or workspace they are also not listed anymore.

A person is not automatically removed as an Assignee if they are removed from the team? I have a random user is a mistake b/c the wrong email was used. It has never been assigned to a task; however, it is still an option in the assignee list.
If you deprovision them from the admin console they should disappear I believe.
