How do you organize recurring workflows in Asana?

I have a workflow that needs to be repeated regularly with the same basic steps each time. It is better to use a project template, task template or recurring tasks for this?

I want to make sure the workflow stays organized without having to recreate all teh steps manually each time. What approach works best for this in Asana?

@Forum-team not sure why this was unlisted..?

Hi @Richard_Sather , the Spam scanner flagged the post, which is why it was unlisted.

We have now rejected the flag, so it’s back in the Forum list.

Hi @lilyhazel265 , welcome to the forum :waving_hand:

I highly recommend task types for repetitive tasks with manual steps. Have a look at this to get started:

@lilyhazel265,

I don’t think there’s a single answer to your question because it depends on the nature of the workflow. You could make a case for each potential solution you offered, and @Richard_Sather’s custom task types, but make a case against them as well as a result of different characteristics of the workflow you’re trying to implement.

Thanks,

Larry
