How do asana users manage the week view of the task calendar's rigid display area?

Hello,

I have noticed that when I show tasks with a start AND end dates on my task calendar (week view), they are locked in a tiny section when I need them to visually be as visible as my other tasks. Is there a trick to extending how much screen space these tasks take up? Its such a small area and the majority of my tasks have start dates and only a few have a single due date this week!

Hope this makes sense, thank you.
(forgive me for my terrible paint screenshot)

Hi there @Isabelle_Freckelton, welcome to the community!

That makes sense. In Week view, the built-in option for multi-day tasks lets you show or hide them, but there isn’t a way to expand the display area today.

If you need tasks with start and due dates to be easier to read, the best workaround is to use Timeline for planning date-range work. Asana specifically recommends Timeline for planning projects on a deadline, since it gives a clearer view of duration.
