I want to make a tab with a List:
then I want to apply a bunch of customizations to it (filters, sorting, etc).
How can I make that view be shared among everyone in the project? Right now, it doesn’t even sync to mobile.

When you do make these customizations, I am assuming that you are clicking on “Save view” once you’re done with the customizations?
Also, you’re correct it doesn’t seem to sync to mobile devices. I did some digging around here and it looks like this is something thats not currently possible. I just voted on this as this is something I didn’t realized I needed until I saw this I suggest you cast your vote as well.
From what I see these saved views gets applied in the desktop app and in the web browser. So as an alternative it is possible to get save view on mobile if you use Asana through the web browser on your phone.
To accomplish this unfortunately this will require you do some finagling
When do go to the Asana website or rather your project it will try to get you to download the app but, WAIT
depending on what web browser you’re using on your phone you need to navigate and find how to enable Desktop View from your mobile phone
Most web browsers will provide this functionality it will just look different for you, when you find it, you should now see your saved views

@Levar_M Neat.
But I’m more interested in my views syncing with my collaborators. If I make a new List, and hit “Save View” on it, will it be available in exactly the same way to other collaborators (even if there’s caveats on mobile)? Or are the views configured on a per-user basis?

Making a new list will not solve the problem not on mobile at least. Views from what I see are configured on a per-user basis on mobile (correct me if I’m wrong) it currently will not retain what your saved view is from the Desktop app, or web browser.
On the mobile app when you do make changes to groups that gets saved per user
It seems the only thing that will stick is anything under “Change View” in mobile devices, but only per user
When it comes to filters anything in “Settings” will not be saved
The views will certainly sync on the desktop app and web browser just not via the app at least not currently. So, your collaborators will certainly see your changes on desktop app and on the web. This is a change I would certainly like to see for the mobile app.
