The Home tab needs more widget options. One that would make a real difference for team leaders is a Filter Results widget where users can define their own filters (project, assignee, due date range, custom fields) and pin the results as a live widget on Home.
Think of it as a saved Advanced Search query that lives permanently on your homepage. For example, I manage a design team across multiple client projects. Right now, if I want to see all tasks due this week across every project my team touches, I have to run an Advanced Search, and that view disappears as soon as I navigate away. A pinned filter widget on Home would let me see that at a glance every morning without clicking into anything.
Beyond custom filters, chart and reporting widgets should also be available on Home. Dashboards and charts already exist inside individual projects and portfolios, but there’s no way to surface them on the homepage. Being able to pin a completion rate chart, an overdue task breakdown by team member, or a tasks-created-vs-completed trend directly on Home would give team leaders the statistical snapshot they need without navigating into separate views.
The Home widget library is too limited in its current state. Expanding it with filter-based and data visualization widgets would make Home genuinely useful as a daily command center.
