Gmail Asana integration

I am successfully receiving emails from Gmail to the synced project but I am not receiving replies to the emails in the comments. Is this possible?

You mean when somebody responds to a task via gmail you are not seeing the response added to the task as a comment?
Or the other way around?

No. I have certain emails from gmail that transfer to Asana as tasks but the replies from that thread (gmail) do not update or transfer over.

Could you please update the functionality of the Gmail Add-on to include being able to add emails to existing tasks. I love creating tasks from Gmail but often have updates that would be great to add-in as a comment. I would use this frequently in dealing with long-term tasks.
