Getting Started with Script Actions

After reading Use Script Actions to Make the Most of your AI Studio credits I’m looking to convert some AI rules to Script Actions. This will be my first foray into Script Actions, and I was looking for some guidance and best practices around their usage. (FWIW: I am comfortable in JavaScript, but new to TypeScript.) I can use ChatGPT to generate some suggested scripts, as the article suggests, but GenAI results have not always been optimal.

I was surprised not to find anything in Asana Academy along the lines of a “Getting Started with Script Actions” course or training. Are there resources out there that I did not find, or is this a lesser documented process in Asana?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

It’s this. They haven’t gotten a lot of official attention. Here is the documentation that’s available for script actions as of this writing:

Lastly, for an alternative solution, you might want to see our newest Flowsana offering which has numerous advantages over Asana script actions:

@Shayna_Diamond, In addition to those great references from @Phil_Seeman in the prior post, here’s one more in case it’s helpful:

Thanks,

Thanks Ipb, that was the article that originally set me on this path (after blowing through out AI credits too fast!). We are on an Enterprise plan, but a good reminder that not all features are available at all levels!
