We use Gantt charts to help our architecture and construction business, but are struggling with the current approach to labeling.
Request:
Add a “Show labels” toggle in Gantt settings so each bar can display its task name (wrapped/truncated as needed) similar to Timeline view.
Why:
- Large projects lose context when bars aren’t labelled
- Users can’t match bars to activities without cross-referencing unless there are labels
- Exported charts are not self-contained and become unreadable without labels
How it might work:
- ON: Overlay task names on bars (similar to timeline)
- OFF: Current behaviour
