Frozen Sections in Timeline

I wanted to request the ability to freeze a section in timeline view. Our team utilizes multiple sections, with each serving different purposes. One might be general project management, whereas another might be specific tasks related to an assignment.
In this case I keep wishing that we could freeze the project management section at the top, so as you scroll down to other sections, you can always see how those dates relate to larger project management timelines and milestones.

Hi @Yoshi and thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I don’t believe this is in our near-term plans but I can totally see how useful this would be, i’ll make sure to keep you posted as soon as I have more info in this topic. And if you have any additional question or need a hand with anything, feel free to reach our in the Forum, there will always be someone to give you a hand

I will add my vote to this feature request.
Our use case: we have a section to collect the team members holidays (we treat them as tasks).
If we could freeze that section at the top and scroll down into the project, we would be able to quickly check for conflicts between a member’s tasks and his availability.

I also would like to have this feature, it is like the “freeze pane” feature in excel where you keep the 1st x number of columns or rows fixed.

This will be helpful when we allocate tasks, we can always always keep an eye on the tasks to be allocated when we are allocating them to different sections (people or day).

Any progress on this feature? A ‘freeze pane’ type feature would be very helpful.
