The formatting bar is in the way when I am selecting text to copy into another document. We have orders that show text for customized orders. We select and copy text into templates. The text is now obscured by the formatting bar pop up. Please make this optional.
Hi @Leigh_Sellinger, welcome and thanks for sharing your feedback. Right now, there isn’t a setting to turn the bar off. A few quick workarounds that may help:

Zoom out a bit in your browser or widen the task pane / open the task in full screen so the bar sits away from your selection.

Use keyboard selection and then copy to avoid moving the mouse near the bar (Shift + arrows, then Cmd/Ctrl + C).

For custom fields, click into the field, use Cmd/Ctrl + A or double‑click to select the value, then copy.
