I have some Asana forms with a long text entry field, which I would like to use as the task description.
Currently, the task description includes that text, but also includes some other info which I don’t want: the short text field which I have assigned as the task title, the submitter’s email address, and the form URL. This seems like a good default, but I’d like an option to set the description to only the long text input that I added to the form.
Are you aware of the toggle “Copy all rsponses to task description”?
Does that handle at least part of your request?
If appropriate, please edit this request to account for the presence of that option already and leave the remaining requests, or if this is enough, I can move this topic to another non-voting area.

@ebalsley, to add to @lpb response, you could also add a Rule action to clear the description completely (with any redundant text such as “this task was created using this form…”), as long as you have mapped all the questions to fields you require.

A rule could indeed be used to clear the description, but I’m building my form with an “additional context” long text input box, and I want that to be used for the task description.

Don’t forget to click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button (as I just did!); that’s the quickest and most effective way to express your support for a request.
