When I attempt to create reports on a project, I often want to see how many of the tasks are completed – but I do NOT want to include mark-up sub-tasks (edits/feedback) in this count and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to filter out only those sub-tasks (rather than ALL subtasks). What would be the best way to do this? Would I need to (manually or via a rule) tag those types of sub-tasks first…?
You could use a custom field to show these subtasks as Process, and filter those out of your reporting?

I agree with @Beth_Seeber that you’d have to workaround it in a manner like that until/if Asana addresses it.
Also, don’t forget to click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button at the top-left; that’s the quickest and most effective way to express your support for a request.
