General Asana AI questions
How do I enable Asana AI for my organization? Organization super admins, workspace billing owners, and workspace creators can follow the steps to enable Asana AI here.
Are all Asana AI features available on web and desktop? Yes, they’re available on both web and desktop versions of Asana.
Where can I find the security and privacy overview for Asana AI? Our AI partners do not train their models on customer data and they are required to delete customer data once a query is completed. We have an AI Fact Sheet available on our Trust Center that covers this and much more (you have to be logged in to download).
What language model is Asana AI using? We are currently using the OpenAI and Anthropic LLM models for our GenAI capabilities.
How is AI depending on the quality of the underlying data; and can it help users to properly use Asana to get the best AI insights? This is made possible with our Work Graph data model, which ensures that AI has the right context to understand how the work actually gets done. This essential work context uniquely powers Asana AI to provide accurate, reliable, and traceable insights.
Pricing and usage
How do I know which Asana AI feature is connected to which pricing tier? Asana AI is available on Asana Starter, Advanced, Enterprise, and Enterprise+ tiers. Smart fields, Smart summaries on tasks, and Smart editor are available on legacy tiers Premium, Business, and Legacy Enterprise. Visit our pricing page for more information.
How many AI actions are you limited to per month? Asana AI limits are determined by the number of AI actions completed per month. Every time AI generates a response (i.e. when it suggests custom fields or summarizes a task), it would be considered an AI action. Limits for Asana AI reset monthly based on your plan’s renewal date. As your Subscription nears its limit, the billing owner will receive notifications in-product and via email. Users accessing AI features will also receive notifications in-product. Everything about usage limits can be found in this article.
AI teammates
How will AI teammates be rolled out? How can I set it up with my team? AI teammates is comprised of two features: AI workflows and AI chat. AI chat will be generally available by early August, which provides intelligent conversational assistance, and helps get work done. AI workflows is currently in beta and will be generally available in the second half of this year!
When is AI chat shipping? This is rolling out gradually over the next few weeks. We hope to have this rolled out to all customers on Asana Starter, Advanced, Enterprise, and Enterprise+ tiers by early August.
How do we join the beta? We have a waitlist for the AI teammates beta on our website, and we’ll be accepting customers into the beta as spots become available.
