Hello!
I am working on a large project with many items spanning many days. I am using the calendar view, but the top area of the calendar is limited. I can’t see the full list of my tasks, because so much room is taken up on the bottom half of my screen by the grey “Add a task” section.
I’ve tried options, display options, clicking all over the little scrolling section next to my multi-day tasks, to no avail.
This seems like a very simple issue, I’m stymied because I think I should be able to solve it pretty quickly! I’ve searched this forum and done general Google searches, but I think maybe my terminology is wrong in describing the problem, so the answer isn’t coming up.
Hi Larry, and thanks for answering me! As you can see, across the top under the dates, I have lots of tasks happening. I would like to see them all but it cuts me off. I have to scroll down to see them all, when what I want (and what is key for me!) is to be able to see them all at once. I know my interface is in French, but I think I can work out any instructions you send me between French and English.
Note that t1 and t2 are scrolled off at the top of the screen, and I have the scrollbar too.
I don’t use Calendar view much, but I wonder if this is a function of date ranges (tasks with start + due dates) because those render at the top, and note how some single tasks render further below–the ones on Sunday.
Please create a support ticket to ask them if this should be displaying in a more compact manner; if there’s anything not operating as expected, or if this is just a limitation: see How to contact our Support Team.
The Timeline option is a good option, but I prefer the scale and granularity of the Calendar window. Thanks for the suggestion.
I will look more closely at Larry’s suggestion, and maybe create a ticket.
Hi, @Nicola_Danby , of course you should try contacting support as @lpb mentioned but I thought you cpuld try the Timeline view in the meantime.
Note, if you want granularity, you can use the + button along the top right area, to zoom into Weeks or Days if you prefer
Hi @Nicola_Danby ,
Well kinda.. there is actually Days (between Weeks and Hours), which will show X number of weeks across your screen. X depends on your screen size resolution and browser/app zoom level.
In your case, I think Days would work best for you.
