Dynamic scrolling in timeline - crucial in event business!

In event business seeing all your task in a timeline is crucial. Tasks don’t only come with a date but with a specific time since set ups need to be built in a short time frame and everything has to go hand in hand.
We therefore desperately NEED a more granular way to zoom in and out in the timeline. Selecting just “days” and “hours” is really not enough. We have to be able to display the length of the event. This might be 30h, or 2 days, or 6 days, or 3 weeks.
We also must be able to export that view as a PDF.

We really depend on this function and got told Asana can already do this, which is also way we decided to go with Asana instead of a different project management tool.

Is this something that is currently being worked on?

I’m not aware of this existing or being developed. It sounds like a good idea though.

Hi @ZL1 , this may not be the answer you want but it may be worth looking into instagantt.com which does a great job at exporting timelines / gantt charts to PDF.
