Due date keeps jumping to yesterday

Morning. when i create a new task and select today as the due date it switches it back a day automatically to yesterday. Started happening recently. Is it a time zone thing as I’m in New Zealand and we are a day ahead of some of the world? its not major, just annoying that i keep having to select the due date twice. Only seems to happen when i select today’s date, future days do not change. Cheers

That is odd… If you do this, do you see a notification that a rule is running in the left bottom of the screen?

No, i dont see any notification. It could be a setting, i use Asana as a very basic to do list so all settings will be default. But it is strange that i have used it for about four years now and it just started happening a few months ago.

This has started happening to me as well - sometime in the last 3 weeks or so. It doesn’t happen every time I select today’s date, just sporadically but still happens.

Hey @Alastair_Pickard, Asana typically utilizes local date/time configurations anytime you interact with the date fields. Are your device date/time settings set automatically?

I’m having the same issue. Based in New Zealand, using a Windows 11 machine.

Thanks for the suggestion. My device is set to the correct timezone although through the company VPN.

As far as i can see Asana has the correct timezone as well.

The device, project, etc has all stayed the same this year, so i cannot identify what has caused this to occur in the last few months.

This has also been happening across our team of ~20 users over the last few months. It happens across a wide range of tasks and we don’t have any rules running.

It mostly happens as we start work (around 8–9am) and then seems to work itself out. It must be related to a timezone mismatch somewhere (either our internal network settings or Asana systems) – but we’ve yet to track it down.
