Does Asana override Dropbox Member Privileges?

Dual platform scenario:

a) Dropbox folder has TWO members with full editing privileges
b) Asana Task has media attachments linking to Dropbox

Team members in b) are not members of Dropbox. Do they still have access to those files (view/listen/download)?

The bigger question is this: If I created a task with attached media am I then automatically granting access to all team members?

Hi @Yak_Bondy, when attaching a doc from Dropbox, you’re essentially creating a link to the doc in Dropbox. This means that only members who were granted access to the doc in Dropbox will be able to open in it in Asana. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
