We have lots of projects in a single portfolio. Each project has numerous Milestones and Approval steps in them. To quickly view the status of each Project, we use the Gantt view for the entire Portfolio. However only Milestones appear on the Gantt view. Ideally, we would be able to see Milestones + Approvals (in their relevant color maybe? ie green approved same as a completed Milestone)
These are the Approvals in each Project
And heres where I would like to see them visible alongside Milestones. I know I can use Rules to create a Milestone for each Approval (but Id like a way to visually make the Milestone indicator display the 3 diferent Approval status type: Pending, Approved, Denied)

Hi @Justin_Roberts I agree that would be useful - or indeed a field with this.
I am wondering if there is a way we can use a hidden number custom field that uses rules. When there is an outstanding or changes requested or rejected approval the field on that approval has a 1. Then we use the roll up custom field to the portfolio level to add up all the outstanding approvals - call it number of outstanding approvals.
I would also recommend using the AI Status update and the AI guidelines to outline approvals and status’s of the project. This should list it out in the update and then be also viewable at the portfolio level.
It won’t give you the colour but it will then at least give you an idea at portfolio level.
