If you are editing a template and “hide” a column so the end user does not see it… there is no way to directly “unhide” the columns within template view to make additional edits. You would have to go into each task and edit the hidden column. It would be very helpful to have a direct option to toggle a hide/unhide while editing and would be greatly appreciated. I am now stuck with a very manual editing process or needing to make a new template, which is not an option due to the work put in to-date.
Hi @Joe_Walsh I might not be understanding your question. When you are in a template, you should still be able to click on the Customize button on the top right, select “Fields”, and toggle on/off the custom fields, including hidden fields. The only field that I believe isn’t available is the Collaborator field, which I agree should be made available to turn on/off within the template.
@Kelsea_Lopez the answer was before my eyes!! I had reached to customer service and they had said there was no way to unhide in the template edit mode. Thank you so much for saving me many future headaches.
